Aside

A few days with no post, so here we go with a fresh new image. Still using my blackout method where I carve away the black layer to reveal the texture underneath.

In exactly eight days (tick tock) I’ll be leaving the UK to fly to Denmark and see Charlotte. I’m crazy excited to be going and she’s promised me a trip to Skagen, a place that’s apparently chock full of artists and musicians and where the North and Baltic seas collide. I’ve been practising my Danish while walking the dog, (Coco is fluent) so I can stumble through a conversation without insulting anyone or causing a diplomatic incident. I’m now pretty awesome at animals, so as long as I limit myself to conversations about Zoos and pets I’m laughing.
