Meeting Andrew Peters

Through a chance meeting I recently got chatting with established fantasy author Andrew Peters. He’s the creator of several novels for young people including “Ravenwood” and “The Glass Forest”.

 

He’s a really friendly (and incredibly tall!) guy and I asked him if he had any advice for someone just starting out in the world of publishing. He kindly took a glance at my work that was up on the computer screen at the time. He stopped talking for a moment, took a seat beside me and had a closer look. Then he took out his wallet and gave me his card. We’ve been talking quite frequently since then and we’re trying to put together a couple of projects. It’s pretty amazing to be working with someone who really knows the industry and is so encouraging and supportive of my work. Hopefully you’ll get to see a collaboration of ours at some point in the future.
